MP Invites Falmouth Bus Users To Meeting With First

Local MP Julia Goldsworthy has asked bus users in the Falmouth and Penryn area to join her at a meeting with the Commercial Director of First Devon and Cornwall.
Over recent weeks Ms Goldsworthy has been inundated with letters complaining about the poor bus service that is currently operating in the area and has contacted First on several occasions. The Commercial Director has now said that he will meet with Ms Goldsworthy and constituents in order to discuss ways in which the bus service in the Falmouth area can be improved.
Commenting, Julia Goldsworthy said:
"This meeting will provide an excellent opportunity for bus users to highlight the difficulties that they are regularly facing. I have some serious concerns about the lack of consultation that occurred prior to the new timetable being introduced and I will be raising this with the Commercial Director."
