Falmouth and Camborne MP Julia Goldsworthy was the fastest woman in the field in today's Westminster Mile in aid of Sport Relief.
Ms Goldsworthy completed the course, in St James's Park, London, in a time of just over 7 minutes.
MPs and Peers of all parties participated in the race, which was started by British Olympic Rowing legend Sir Steve Redgrave.
The run was part of a series of 'Sports Relief Mile' events taking place across the country, with hundreds of thousands of people expected to take part throughout the UK.
Commenting, Julia Goldsworthy MP said:
"It was really good to have the opportunity to do my bit for Sport Relief. The run was a great way of raising money for a very worthwhile cause.
"What today shows is that it doesn't matter what size or shape you are, everyone can run a mile - though I'm sure I'll be feeling it tomorrow!
