Campaigners from across Cornwall attended a rally at the Shire Hall in Bodmin on Monday to protest against planned Post Office closures.
The meeting was organised by Cornwall's Liberal Democrats to mark the closing stages of a six-week consultation by Post Office Ltd.
Falmouth and Camborne MP Julia Goldsworthy told protesters that she was outraged by the Government's decision to close the Post Offices.
She claimed the six-week process was "not a consultation", because no other options were being proposed by the Government.
She said: "This has not been a consultation exercise. People have not been given any alternatives, they are being asked to gather evidence to prove why their Post Office should not be closed.
"It has made me extremely angry, but also extremely proud to be Cornish, because we have shown the Government that we won't let them take our Post Offices without a fight."
Truro campaigner Terrye Teverson added: "This process shows that ministers know the cost of everything, but the value of nothing."
