Julia will be attending a Federation of Small Business (FSB) meeting this week to discuss the continuing impact of the credit crunch.
The event will take place at the Greenbank Hotel in Falmouth on Friday 30th January; from 7pm to 9pm. The evening will be free for FSB members and local businesses to attend.
Ms Goldsworthy will be speaking at the meeting before a Question Time type session from the floor. The meeting follows the individual surgeries and roundtable discussion Ms Goldsworthy held for small businesses earlier this month to gauge their views on the economic downturn.
Commenting, Julia Goldsworthy said:
"I am grateful to the FSB for allowing me to attend this event. The business surgery I hosted was an invaluable way of understanding the difficulties that local firms face.
"It is vitally important to have these discussions with business leaders; not only to understand their challenges but to ensure that that they have access to the information and support they need.
"I plan to have further meetings with the local Chambers of Commerce and other business groups in the constituency. If anyone wishes to see me to discuss their concerns on an individual basis, please contact my office on 01209 716110 and I will be happy to meet you."
